Singh Anand and Associates was established in the year 2010 with the aim of providing a wide range of accounting and financial services to clients worldwide and aspires to be recognised as a quality service provider globally. We are a team of Chartered Accountants & Certified Public Accountants (USA) in India, with vast knowledge and professional experience, serving its clients and specialises in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, foreign investments along with a host of other financial services with its base at New Delhi, India.

Singh Anand and Associates (Chartered Accountants) is a consulting firm which basically provides accounting solutions with IT capabilities. Our firm consists of dedicated professionals providing complete and prime services of accounting, auditing and taxation to individuals as well as organisations. We believe to stay ahead in the vibrant changing economy world to provide our clients the most consistent and prompt quality services.

The partners of this firm have spent most of their computer-related life trying to figure out how to get data out of storage and onto paper or into spreadsheets and they’ve been creating excel reports since the late 1990s when they started their career in this accounting practice. We’ve turned to Excel almost exclusively in recent years to create reports, especially ad hoc reports. Because most of the people who request reports want to manipulate and analyse the data, they almost always request that the report be exported to Excel, so we set about developing ways to use Excel not only as an analysis tool but as a data acquisition tool as well. Along the way, we’ve acquired some useful Visual Basic (VB) and SQL knowledge within the team, which is an immense help when it comes to build customised excel functions (with Macros) or getting data out of a database – or wherever it’s hiding. We’ve spent a number of years learning Excel – its Formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros, and a variety of time saving and insight generating tools. We’ve painstakingly gone through and learnt all the tools in Microsoft Excel and therefore we bring with us high productivity so you and your company can get your work done fast and save cost.

Brief about the TEAM

Harpreet Singh Anand [FCA and CPA (USA)], (Managing Partner) – Harpreet is a Bachelors in commerce from Delhi University and a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. He brings over 20 years of accounting experience in international taxation, inbound and outbound investment structuring, transactions advisory including valuations and due-diligence, business planning and strategy making. He is a regular guest speaker in various seminars organised by NICASA of NIRC of ICAI, on international taxation certificate course.

His professional experience includes:

• Investment advisory services including setting up joint ventures in India, fund raising, transactions structuring as well as entry and exit strategies;
• Providing transactions support services including investor/ target identification, feasibility analysis, due diligence, valuations, tax structuring and other support services;
• Advising on Indian corporate tax, regulatory matters and international transactions;
• Statutory audit of major corporates in industries such as defence, legal, education, information technology, health, real estate and infrastructure;
• Implementation of accounting systems with IT expertise.

Jaspreet Singh [CA and MBA], (Partner) – Jaspreet has been involved in the concurrent audit of major nationalised banks. He has an in-depth knowledge of the trends and practices in the banking industry and insurance industry. He is well versed with business valuations and has over the years acquired proficiency in due-diligence and financial reporting. He further has an extensive exposure to the Indian Accounting and Auditing Standards.

Sumit Yadav [ACA], (Associate) – Sumit is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is engaged in variety of assignments with various clients from manufacturing, trading, health, education and real estate industries. He handles planning, reporting, and liaison with clients in relation to the professional assignments. He is well versed various export benefit schemes and leads the team responsible for managing export related activities.

Other than basic aspects of auditing and accounting, he is an expert in direct taxation and related matters. He is a young and dynamic associate, and his professional experience includes:
• Corporate Laws and Regulatory advisory services
• Preparation of Project Reports of various enterprises
• Income tax assessments of various clients
• Manage Export benefit Scheme for clients

He is ready to step into the new era of rendering professional services of the highest standards globally. His ability to understand the business environment coupled with his sound financial and accounting background helps meeting client’s expectations at every level.

Jagjit Singh [B. Com and FCA], (Associate) – Jagjit Singh is a Bachelors in commerce from Delhi University and a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. His practice primarily includes looking after and leading audit, direct and indirect tax including planning for corporates. He brings over 40 years accounting exposure in financial management and accounting, financial and operational control, relationship management, internal audit and concurrent audit. He also mentors his teammates by conducting trainings for accounting standards and IFRS convergence and other technical matters.

Gurpreet Singh [B. Com], (Manager) – Gurpreet has more than 10 years of experience in corporate administration and finance management. Besides overseeing corporate law, assurance & tax compliances (personal & corporates), he also supervises and manages the information technology side of the firm and is carrying out information system audits for clients.

Manpreet Kaur [B. Com], (Manager) – Manpreet is currently pursuing professional degree of Chartered Accountants, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has been involved with several assignments relating to statutory audit, tax audit, direct and indirect taxation. She handles ROC/ tax compliances and tax planning for the domestic clients of the firm. She has assisted various clients in their business setups including company incorporations & trust registrations in India.
